Getting a Coverage!

We are so happy to see our store getting nice coverage by the local media. Notably, City Paper and West of.net have covered our store earlier. We have now been named as one of the interesting local gourmet shops in Charleston by the "Hugging the Coast.com" website. Thanks to you all for your business and kind support to Nelli Grocery!

To those who have not yet seen the notice board - Yes, you will find the Recipe of the Week next time you see our notice board!

I will try to bring out authentic recipes that my mother and myself use!

By the way, we went to a wholesale store in Atlanta last weekend. Our prices are not much different from them! So, at Nelli, feel confident that you are getting your favorite grocery for a price comparable to stores in "Big" cities! When you go to other places, go see the places rather than grocery shopping. We do it for you so that you can conveniently get them from Nelli!

Change in Working Hours! From May 1st!

It's been great to run this store. It fills the heart when someone takes home a bunch of  fresh green spinach. The mere sight of a bag full of vegetables and groceries bring back the memories of those childhood days when I went to shop with my father in the local market back home. The vendor would know you by face, name, family and even know where you study. At Nelli Grocery we try to maintain the same tradition and provide similar local-store experience. 

Time to time the kind comments and suggestions by you, our valued customers, are helping us to improve our service. We thank you for your continued support and kind recommendation to your friends and colleagues. 

Well, I originally started writing this post to let you all know about our new Working Hours! Here you go: 

From May 1st, yes, remember from May 1, 2009, our hours will be as follows: 

 Sunday to Wednesday   - 11.00AM to 7.00PM

Thursday to Saturday     - 11. 00AM to 8.00PM 

"Tuesday Holiday" remains the same!
